On their official social media handle, the makers, Annapurna Studios, shared an official note regarding the postponement of the film. The makers wrote, “The release of Lenin, which was originally scheduled for May 1, will now be postponed. With our most beloved mega power star Ram Charan’s Peddi coming up on April 30, we believe it is the right time to celebrate cinema together in a positive and healthy environment. We all know the kind of bond Ram Charan garu shares with Akhil garu and how he has always been a constant well-wisher. This decision comes with the utmost respect and honor.”

Lenin is an upcoming action drama set in a village setting starring Akhil Akkineni And Bhagyashree Borse. Directed by Murali Kishore Abburu, the film focuses on an intense love story that also addresses a relevant social issue.

Initially, the film had Sreeleela in the co-lead role, and the makers had also released a glimpse of her. However, reportedly due to scheduling conflicts with other projects, the actress left the film, and Bhagyashree Borse stepped in.
