On Women’s Day, actress Akansha Ranjan Kapoor made public her decision to freeze her eggs. Sharing her journey with followers on social media, the 32-year-old explained how the process involved daily injections, medical visits and managing side effects such as swelling and mood swings.
He further described the last two weeks as intense and challenging. Akanksha also expressed her admiration for the flexibility of the female body.

In her post, Akansha wrote, “Yesterday I froze my eggs!! I didn’t really plan on sharing but today feels like the right day to say it. The female body is extraordinary. The last two weeks were intense. Injecting myself with thick needles every day, hormones doing their thing, swelling, mood swings, endless scans, medications, IV drips and finally surgery (sic).”
She added, “But I just want to say that women are bad and I’m amazed at how intelligent and capable our bodies are.”
Actor shares recovery update
The actor gave additional information about the pictures he posted. Describing the second photo, she said, “The second photo is from today – getting ready for the work I want to do. Athletic and back into my routine…even though I can barely handle the 20 minute wobble around my building. But honestly it feels like enough! Because this body has done something amazing. Happy Women’s Day,” she wrote.
