Last week, Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayan announced that he would be stepping down from the lead role after a successor was appointed. Narayan has been the CEO since 2007. This could be their last big move – Adobe and Nvidia have announced a strategic partnership to create the next generation of Firefly models.
If you haven’t heard of it, Adobe Firefly gives users access to a variety of generative AI models (for images, video, audio, and design) from Adobe as well as third-party companies like Google and OpenAI.
This new partnership will bring deeper integration of NVIDIA technology into Firefly – including computing technologies and libraries like CUDA-X, models like NVIDIA Cosmos, as well as a full suite of agentic AI tools.
Adobe and Nvidia are launching a “cloud-native, brand identity-preserving 3D digital twin solution.” From the sound of it, this will make creating ads easier – if you want to advertise a box of cereal, instead of taking a box of cereal and a camera, you’ll be able to present images and videos using a virtual replica of the product (the cereal box).

Adobe will also take advantage of Nvidia’s NemoClaw, a tool that is based on OpenClaw with additional privacy and security controls. This will allow you to deploy and control agents like Nvidia Nemotron. Such agents will be able to take the details of what you want and handle all the research and content creation automatically. That’s the goal anyway.
Nvidia technology will be integrated into all of Adobe’s core products: Acrobat, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Frame.io, Firefly Foundry, ZenStudio, and Experience Platform.
“Content creation is exploding, and our partnership with Nvidia is based on a shared vision of reinventing creative and marketing workflows with the power of AI.” said Shantanu Narayan, president and CEO of Adobe. “As AI transforms the way marketing teams and media and entertainment studios work, Adobe and Nvidia will bring together our Firefly model, CUDA libraries in our applications, 3D digital twins for marketing and the Agent Toolkit, and Nemotron in our agentic framework to deliver high-quality, controllable, and enterprise-grade AI workflows of the future.”
“AI is giving every industry the ability to redefine what is possible,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia. “For more than 20 years, NVIDIA and Adobe have partnered to push the boundaries of design and creativity. Today, we are taking that partnership to a new level – uniting our research and engineering teams to accelerate Adobe’s beloved applications with NVIDIA CUDA and jointly building cutting-edge world foundation models that envision creativity and transform customer experiences.”
