British singer Adele has finally confirmed her engagement to her partner Rich Paul. The ‘Someone Like You’ singer made the announcement during a recent concert in Munich, Germany, putting an end to engagement rumours.

according to PeopleAdele, 36, responded to a fan’s marriage proposal during the concert. The singer declined, saying, “I can’t marry you, I’m already married,” while showing her left hand, as seen in a social media video.

During a 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Adele shared details about her first meeting with Rich Paul. She said, “I met him at a birthday party, we were on the dance floor. And then we met a few years later. We went out to dinner, which he said was a business meeting, and I said ‘Business meeting about what?’ And then it was the first time we hung out alone.”

Adele went public with her relationship with the sports executive in 2021 when they were photographed together courtside at an NBA Finals game. She was previously married to Simon Konecki, with whom she shares an 11-year-old son, Angelo.
