Actors Leah Remini and Angelo Pagan have decided to end their relationship after being together for 28 years. The couple was married for 21 years. Leah shared a statement about this on X.

Stating that they will remain friends, the actor wrote in a post, “Well, here we are. After 28 years together and 21 years married, we have decided to file for divorce. This decision has come after a lot of thought and care, and as difficult as divorce is, we are approaching it with a positive attitude because we know it is best for us. We are proud of how we have worked through this together. Yes, we are sad, and we have some figuring out to do as we continue to move forward into our new normal — in many ways still together, and in some new ways apart.”

“But the point is, we’ve been best friends for many, many years. We still vacation together, watch our favorite TV shows together and gather as a family,” he added.

Leah also explained why they decided to separate after being together for so many years.

“Simply put, we have both changed, as people change, and we have become accustomed to playing roles that were no longer appropriate for us. After a lot of effort and deliberation, we have decided to take this step, which reflects who we are today. Our relationship is still strong – it has just evolved into something different,” Leah concluded.

The couple has a 20-year-old daughter, Sophia.

The news of Leah’s divorce comes days after Leah’s close friend and singer-actress Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Hollywood star Ben Affleck.
