In a tragic turn for the Tamil film industry, veteran stuntman Mohan Raj lost his life during a high -risk car stunt on the set of ‘Wettuvam’. While the incident left the industry in shock, actor Silambarson TR, unrelated to the project, quietly raised financial assistance to the late stuntman’s family, earning praise for his kind gesture.

Silambarson’s contribution was revealed during an emotional interview with a stunt choreographer Silva Master, who praised STR for his consistent but low-profile charitable acts. Silambarson’s support has hit a raga in the entire industry, especially among stunt artists, who often work in high -risk conditions with limited recognition.

The film, directed by Pa Ranjith and starring Arya, was in the midst of filming high -risk action sequences on July 13, when a deadly accident occurred. Although the basic security protocol was allegedly followed, the tragedy has ruled the immediate conversations around the need for strict safety rules and accountability on film sets.

As the condolences continue, legal proceedings have also started. Director Pa. A case has been filed against Ranjith, Stunt Coordinator Vinoth, Razmal’s sapphire products, and vehicle owner Prabhakaran under Section 289, 125 and 106 (1) of the Indian Nai Code (BNS).

Meanwhile, Silambaron was last seen in ‘Thug Life’, directed by Mani Ratnam and starred by Kamal Haasan. He is currently collaborating with Vetri Maran on a much awaited project in the ‘Vada Chennai’ universe. Although this is not a straight sequel, the film, temporarily under the title ‘Str49’, has already created significant enthusiasm among fans.
