Actor Robert Downey Jr. threatens legal action against AI replicas of Tony Stark
Robert Downey Jr. has strongly opposed any AI recreation of his Tony Stark character, and has vowed to take legal action against Marvel executives who attempt such a thing. He assured that his law firm will continue this fight even after death.

In a recent appearance on the On With Kara Swisher podcast, the Oscar-winning actor expressed his intention to “sue all future executives” if an AI version of his Iron Man character was ever created without his consent.
Downey outlined his belief that Marvel’s current decision-makers would never consider using AI to replicate his role as Iron Man.
He commented, “I’m not worried about them hijacking my character’s soul because there are three or four guys and girls who make all the decisions anyway, and they would never do that with or without me. do.”
However, when Swisher reminded him that these officers would ultimately be successful, Downey reaffirmed his stance, and said that his law firm would continue legal action even after his demise. “You’re right,” Downey admitted. “I would like to state here that I intend to specifically sue all future officers.”
Light-heartedly, Swisher quipped, “You’ll be dead,” to which Downey responded, “But my law firm will still be very active.”
Following his portrayal of Iron Man, Downey retired from the Marvel community. However, earlier this year, he announced his surprise return as the formidable Marvel villain, Dr. Victor Von Doom, also known as Doctor Doom.
