Actor-producer Sudesh Kumar dies in Mumbai at the age of 95, prayer meeting on 4th May
Actor and producer Sudesh Kumar passed away in Mumbai at the age of 95 following health complications. He is survived by his wife and daughter. A prayer meeting has been organized for the late artist on May 4.

Actor-producer Sudesh Kumar passed away in Mumbai at the age of 95. Known for his acting in Hindi cinema from the 1950s to the 1970s, he died at home after being discharged from hospital following respiratory health problems. A prayer meeting is going to be held on 4th May.
According to reports, Sudesh was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on April 27. Later on his request he was brought back home, where arrangements were made for his care.

talking to The Times of IndiaHis wife Jaya Dhawan said, “On his request, we brought him back home on Thursday where we set up a temporary medical unit. But he breathed his last the next morning.”
Born in Peshawar in 1931, the actor moved to Bombay with his family during his childhood. She began her acting career with small roles in low-budget costume dramas and devotional films before achieving widespread recognition.
He became known for his role younger sister (1959), where he played the role of a doctor. The actor rose to fame by playing the lead role in saranga (1961), a tragic love story, worked in films like Reliance (1963) and dynasty (1965)
Later he entered the field of production and also produced films. mind temple (1971)Ghulam Begum Badshah (1973)confusion (1975)changing relationships (1978), And life in the palm of your hand (1987). He also worked as an assistant director in films like Bond of love (1963) and body up (1966), adding to his contributions behind the camera.
He married Jaya Naik in 1982. She has appeared in advertisements for several cosmetic and food brands. Both of them first met as neighbors outside the house of lyricist Rajendra Krishna.
Sudesh Kumar’s last rites were performed on Friday, May 1, at Shivaji Park crematorium in Mumbai.
