Actor Bala’s ex-wife Amrita Suresh breaks silence on his arrest; Says, after divorce it became difficult for his daughter to even go to school

Bala was arrested by the police following a complaint by his ex-wife Amrita Suresh. The actor was reportedly detained by the police from his house in Edappally in the early hours of October 14. He has been charged under the Juvenile Justice Act. Soon after Bala’s arrest, Amrita came forward to share the challenges faced by her and her daughter after their separation from the accused.

According to a report in Mathrubhumi, Amrita narrated her ordeal and said that she felt “haunted” for many years. She further said, “I was subjected to continuous unspeakable physical and mental torture. When it started affecting her (my daughter), I left that house.” She revealed, “Even after the divorce, when we were expected to live peacefully, he continued to stalk us. We faced severe harassment on social media and found it difficult to even go to school “

Amrita revealed that she faced “constant threats” from Bala and at one point it became unbearable as it started affecting her daughter Avantika. She further alleged that the actor never showed interest in meeting her daughter after the divorce.

Amrita mentioned that their divorce agreement clearly stated that Bala would have to contribute to their daughter’s marriage. He said that an insurance policy of Rs 15 lakh was taken for him, but the actor did not pay any premium for it. Suresh told that the accused did not even once ask to meet his daughter.

According to the report, Bala’s ex-wife alleged that their divorce case was settled for a minimal amount, and yet he has been accused of “stealing crores”. Amrita also shared how her call records were leaked on some channels and false allegations were made against her during the interview. “The allegations of embezzlement of crores are false,” he concluded.

However, Bala is currently being interrogated at the Kadavanthra police station and will reportedly be produced in court in the evening.
