Actor Ajith Kumar has returned to Chennai from Belgium to cast his vote in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections to be held on April 23. The renowned actor, who is actively involved in international racing, took time out from his busy schedule to fulfill his democratic duty.

He received a warm welcome from fans at the airport upon his arrival in Chennai on Wednesday and videos of him leaving the terminal were widely shared on social media.

Ajith will cast his vote in Thiruvanmiyur constituency of Chennai. The actor has always performed his civic duty without any mistakes. He reaches the polling station early in the morning, standing in the queue before exercising his right to vote.

The actor has had a successful year in racing and has scored important wins in various championships around the world. Notably, his team recently finished second in the 24H Series in Belgium at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. His manager, Suresh Chandra, highlighted Ajit’s passion and determination and described the moment as making the entire nation proud.

After participating in the elections, Ajith is expected to travel to several European countries including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom and Portugal to continue his participation in the racing championship.

Additionally, Ajith is awaiting the release of a documentary film directed by Kumar Vijay, which will showcase his achievements on the racetrack. In films he was last seen in Adhik Ravichandran’s film good bad ugly And is set to collaborate with him again for a project which is yet to be shot. While the film was expected to go on floors in February, it has faced unfortunate delays.
