Aamir Khan is always known for his respectful behavior and cordial bond with his entire family. On Thursday, October 3, the actor attended the funeral of his ex-wife Reena Dutta’s father. What caught everyone’s attention is that Aamir stood by Reena during her difficult times and was seen helping her out of the ambulance during the day.
Reena Dutta’s house was surrounded extensively by media personnel, who kept capturing every moment outside her residence. He recorded the arrival of all the guests and family members and went close to her in the ambulance as she attended her father’s funeral. However, Aamir showed his respectful behavior and helped her get down safely by giving his hand.
On this occasion, Aamir Khan was seen wearing cream colored loose kurta and glasses. Reena Dutta wore a cream colored kurta which had thread embroidery on it. Paparazzi followed them everywhere and constantly took pictures of them, yet the two did not comment publicly.
Apart from Aamir Khan, several other family members including his and Reena’s son Junaid, daughter Ira and ex-wife Kiran Rao attended the funeral. Even when Reena Dutta’s father passed away on October 2, 2024, the actor immediately reached out to her mother for her last glimpse.
Aamir married Reena Dutta when he was 21 and she was 19. The Dangal actor has often mentioned how Reena supported him in the initial phase of his career. The couple were married for 16 years before separating in 2002.
On the work front, Aamir Khan was last seen in the much-awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha. After the film he took a break with his family. The actor will next be seen in the film Sitare Zameen Par, which will also star Genelia Deshmukh in a pivotal role. It is based on the Spanish film Champions
