Malayalam film, Aadu 3: One Last Ride (Part 1) took a stellar opening at the Indian box office. The fantasy comedy entertainer directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas opened with a solid Rs. Earning Rs 5.90 crore in its home state. Rest of the Indian markets collected around Rs. Contributed. Earned Rs 1 crore, taking the first day’s earning to Rs 1 crore. 6.90 crore at the Indian box office.
Malayalam films have immense popularity in the Middle East regions. There were concerns about its fate in these markets; However, Aadu 3 has received an encouraging start in the Middle East, where it grossed US$825K on the first day. This is a big relief for the Mollywood film industry.
Apart from the Middle East, Peaches 3 grossed approximately US$174K from the UK and Ireland, while North America contributed US$92K. In Australia it grossed US$33K, while in New Zealand it grossed over US$7K. The overall opening day of Aadu 3 reached US$1.18 million in the international market, earning Rs. Gross 11.10 crores in Indian currency.
As said, the worldwide first day earnings of Aadu 3 now stands at Rs. Earning 18 crores, which is a promising start at the box office. With such an impressive opening, it emerged as the fifth highest opener of Malayalam cinema at the worldwide box office.
