Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao and Sanya Malhotra starrer Badhaai Ho has completed 6 years of its release today i.e. October 18, 2024. On the special occasion, reminiscing about a bizarre revelation when Khurrana gave an epic reaction on how he would explain Badhaai Ho to his children.

During his first appearance on Karan Johar’s favorite chat show, Koffee with Karan, Ayushmann Khurrana was asked how he would explain the synopsis of his quirky films to his children, Virajveer and Varushka.

To this the Article 15 actor quipped, “Don’t leave us alone when we grow old.”

Additionally, when asked how he would explain Vicky Donor, Khurrana humorously said, “Son, it is because of this talent of Papa that you are famous today.”

Meanwhile, talking about Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, the film in which he was seen playing the role of a guy suffering from erectile dysfunction, the actor said, “Agar ye hota toh tu na hota (If it was like this, you would not have existed) Would) ).”

Badhaai Ho tells the story of a middle-aged couple, Nakul and Priyamvada (Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao), who are expecting a child at the age of 50. This causes his elder son Kaushik (Ayushmann Khurrana) to suddenly feel shocked and embarrassed. ,

The comedy family drama not only received immense love from fans and critics, but was also awarded the National Award in the category of Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.

Earlier in the day, as Badhaai Ho completed six years, Ayushmann also shared a touching scene from the film in which he and Neena Gupta were marking the special occasion.

On the work front, Ayushmann will be a part of a film Thamba, co-produced by Stree 2 director Amar Kaushik. It will be a part of Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe.

Speaking to India Today earlier this year in September, Amar had confirmed, “We will start shooting for it in the next two months.”
