Singer-actress Selena Gomez has become one of the youngest celebrities to be included in the billionaires list, according to a Bloomberg report. Selena’s net worth is $1.3 billion.
The publication reported that her earnings come primarily from her makeup brand, Rare Beauty, which she founded five years ago. Other young female celebrities on the list include names such as Taylor Swift and Rihanna.
With Rare Beauty reporting sales of $400 million over the past 12 months, including its sold-out liquid blush and lip tint products, and endorsement deals with luxury brands like Louis Vuitton and Coach, Gomez has plenty to celebrate.
According to reports, Selena earned (at least) $6 million per season for her acclaimed series, Only Murders in the Building, in which she co-starred with comedy legends Steve Martin and Martin Short.
Adding yet another feather to Selena’s already decorated title, she is the most followed woman on Instagram, with 424 million fans. She also has several chartbusters to her name, including the Grammy-nominated Latin-pop album, Revelation.
Talking about work, her Emmy-nominated series, Only Murders in the Building, has already been renewed for a fifth season.
