Taking on the latest social media trend, veteran actor Anupam Kher recently shared a set of throwback pictures from 2016 on Tuesday. The collection included a particularly notable image capturing a heartfelt moment with his late friend, Satish Kaushik. Prominent personalities from the film industry and family members also attended it.

Kher’s post included pictures of Hollywood actors Robert De Niro and Gerard Butler besides Bollywood actors Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh and Anil Kapoor. Kher also shared personal moments with his mother Dulari and brother Raju Kher. However, one picture caught special attention – Kher facing the camera with Kaushik, along with Anil Kapoor.

Kher’s close friend Kaushik died of a heart attack in Gurugram in March 2023 at the age of 66. His death is a significant loss to the film community. Kher has since maintained a visible bond with Kaushik’s family, often referencing shared experiences and memories.

In October last year, Kher had attended lunch with Kaushik’s family. During the gathering, Kaushik’s daughter, Vanshika, and the actor took part in a light-hearted activity involving tongue twisters, which they recorded on social media.

On Kaushik’s 68th birthday, Kher had earlier also posted a message on social media. He wrote, “Happy Birthday my dear #Satish! May God bless you with all the happiness wherever you are. For me, you are always around. In pictures, in food, in conversations, when I am alone, when I am with people. Your memory is contagious!”
