Drama Jodha Akbar (2008) completed 17 magnificent years on 15 February. The historical romantic drama tells the epic story of the Sangh of Mughal Emperor Akbar along with Rajput Princess Jodebai, brought to life by Hritic Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. To mark the occasion, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is set to host a special screening of the film in March 2025.

Recently, Aishwarya’s Uttam Shaadi Ke Lehenga at the academy was included in the motion exhibition in her color in the film, cuisted by the famous costume designer Neeta Lulla. This recognition outlines the permanent impact of the film on Indian cinema and its artistic contribution.
