Disney’s animated film, Zootopia 2, directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, has collected Rs. Earned Rs. 28.30 crores in 6 weeks theatrical run. Animation films are extremely popular around the world, becoming some of the highest-grossing films of all time. In many countries, animation is the most popular genre for film viewing. However, it has very few takers in India. The buddy cop animated film had a slow start, but managed to register promising trends.
It earned Rs. Earned Rs. Earned 11.30 crores in the opening week, after which it had to face tough competition from the big guns in India. Zootopia 2 will go on to cost around Rs. Was successful in earning Rs. 1.30 crore in the sixth week.
The film is still running in theaters and is likely to add another few crores of rupees to its earnings, with its full theatrical run expected to be around Rs. Earning 30 crores in India. It will enter the top 10 highest-grossing Hollywood animation films in India.

At the global level, this film has emerged as a big grossing film. It has already become the highest-grossing Hollywood film in China, surpassing Avengers: Endgame. Moreover, the way it is performing at the box office right now, its full theatrical gross is likely to be around US$1.80 billion. Whether the film will be able to touch the US$2 billion mark will depend on how it performs further in Japan and China. Overall, the movie will have a better ending than Avatar: Fire and Ash, which is a huge accomplishment.
