The first song from Anurag Basu’s upcoming film ‘Metro in Dino’, titled ‘Zamana Lege’, was officially released on Wednesday. The song is part of the last installment in the trilogy of Basu which includes ‘Life in a Metro’ and ‘Ludo’.
Sung by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh, with music and song songs and Sandeep Srivastava, ‘Zamana Lege’ caught the quiet heart of life in a fast growing city. The song features four couples-Ali Khan-Aditya Roy Kapoor, Neena Gupta-Anoopam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi-Konkona Sen and Ali Fazal-Fatima Sana Sanaa-and-different age groups experience love, loss, struggle and loneliness in various age groups of various age groups. Through intimate tunes and amazing songs, the track reflects the emotional journey of modern relationships.

The launch event for ‘Zamana Lege’ took place at Yuhi Lounge in Mumbai and brought a large part of the film’s actors and crew together. Actor Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Ali Fazal, and Nina Gupta, director Anurag Basu and musician Protem were present in attendance. Producer Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Anurag Basu and Tani Basu were also present.
The event included live performances by singers Shashwat Singh, Papon and Raghav Chaitanya, and insight into the film’s soundtrack.
‘Metro in Dino’ has been built by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with Anurag Basu Productions Private. The limited film was released on July 4, 2025.
