Why did FWICE ban Ranveer Singh?
The controversy began when Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani reportedly approached FWICE over Ranveer’s sudden exit from the film shortly before the shooting began. According to the federation, Excel Entertainment alleged that the actor’s exit led to a loss of around Rs 45 crore in pre-production expenses.
FWICE also claimed that Ranveer has signed a three-film contract with the banner. Later the body issued several notices to the actor and sought his response.
