Xiaomi will launch Redmi Pad Pro 5G tablet in India on July 29
Xiaomi is going to launch the Redmi Pad Pro 5G tablet in India later this month. The tablet comes with a big screen and is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2.
Xiaomi is going to launch its next in-line tablet, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G. The upcoming tablet is set to launch in India on July 29. The company has revealed that the tablet will have the same specifications as the global model and will come in three colours: Graphite Gray, Mint Green, and Ocean Blue. The Redmi Pad Pro 5G has a bigger screen, bigger battery, and adds several new features compared to its previous model Redmi Pad. Let’s take a closer look at the specifications of the device.
Redmi Pad Pro 5G
The upcoming Redmi Pad Pro features a 12.1-inch display that supports 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate at 249 ppi. It has a peak brightness of 600 nits and is certified with TœV Rheinland Low Blue Light. The display is built with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The Redmi Pad is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage that is expandable up to 1.5TB. The tablet sports an 8MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, ensuring a great multimedia experience.
It runs on Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14. For connectivity, it has optional 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, and Bluetooth v5.2. 5G cellular connectivity is the main highlight of the device apart from other key features. The tablet will be backed by a 10,000mAh battery with 33W wired charging support, which the company claims offers up to 12 hours of video playback time.
It seems that Redmi has also worked on its software updates. Interconnectivity between Redmi devices will be even stronger with the upcoming Redmi Pad Pro. Xiaomi HyperOS will bring shared clipboard, network sync, and iPhone-like phone mirroring to the new upcoming tablet. As for accessories, it supports the Redmi Pad Pro Keyboard and Redmi Smart Pen which has 4096-level pressure sensitivity and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The tablet is already on sale in China, so we can expect up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, microSD card slot, Nano SIM support, 8MP front and rear cameras, and support for 33W fast charging.
Redmi Pad Pro (expected)
Redmi Pad Pro has many features and powerful specifications. Its price in China is CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 22,970) for the 128GB variant and CNY 2,399 (approximately Rs 27,560) for the 256GB variant. But it is not certain whether Redmi Pad Pro will be launched at this price. The company can launch it at a relatively lower price.
