Xiaomi has unveiled its latest flagship lineup for the global markets at MWC 2026 – Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The series is set to make its India debut on March 11. The company has also showcased the Xiaomi Pad 8 series at the event.

Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra specs, price, colors and features
The Xiaomi 17 is positioned as the more compact flagship in the lineup. It features a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,500 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone weighs 191 grams and has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is the larger, camera-focused flagship in the series. It features a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and weighs around 219 grams. Like the standard model, it has an IP68 rating.
Both the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The Xiaomi 17 comes in a single global configuration with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, priced starting at EUR 999 (roughly Rs. 1,07,365). The global price of Xiaomi 17 Ultra is 1,499 Euro (approximately Rs 1,61,048). The India price of both devices will be announced on March 11.
On the camera front, the Xiaomi 17 sports a Leica-backed triple-camera system that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with a Leica 60mm floating lens design.
In terms of photography, the 17 Ultra sports a Leica-tuned triple-camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. The telephoto camera supports 3.2x to 4.3x continuous optical zoom (75-100 mm equivalent) using a movable mechanical zoom system.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra packs a 6,000mAh battery that supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. While Xiaomi 17 has a 6,330mAh battery and supports 100W wired charging.
In India, the Xiaomi 17 will be available in black, blue and green color options, while the pink variant will be exclusive to the global market. In India, the Ultra variant will be available only in black color.
Specifications and features of Xiaomi Pad 8 and 8 Pro
Xiaomi Pad 8 comes with an 11.2-inch LCD display with 3K resolution (3200 x 2136) and 3:2 aspect ratio. It supports 144Hz adaptive refresh rate and 800 nits peak brightness.
The tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor built on a 4nm process, paired with LPDDR5X RAM. It offers up to 12GB of RAM and storage options including 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
The Pad 8 runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3. Users can take advantage of PC-style browsing with split-screen multitasking, workstation mode, and drag-and-drop support. On the AI front, the tablet includes tools like AI Writing, AI Translate, and AI Art. For optics, it sports a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
It packs a large 9,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging support and reverse charging support.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro features the same 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD display with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate. It is powered by the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite built on a 3nm process, paired with faster LPDDR5T RAM. Like the standard model, it supports 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.
The tablet runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3 with similar multitasking and AI-powered features.
The camera hardware has been upgraded on the Pro model, with a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front camera with support for 4K video recording.
The Pad 8 Pro has the same 9,200mAh battery with 67W HyperCharge fast charging and reverse charging support.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 series is available in Pine Green, Blue, and Gray color options and is currently on sale across Europe and select global markets.
