Xiaomi 15 launched in India: prices, sales date, offer

Xiaomi 15 comes with an initial price tag of Rs 64,999. As part of the launch, the consumers will be able to claim an immediate ICICI bank discount offer of Rs 5,000, which will effectively drop the price to Rs 59,999.

The new Xiaomi 15 Ultra is priced at Rs 1,09,999. As part of the launch offer, the company is offering an immediate discount of Rs 10,000 on the ultra model if you have ICICI Bank Card. This will effectively cost Rs 99,999. Additionally, Xiaomi will also bundle a free photography kit legend version with Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone without additional charge. Pre-booking for equipment begins on March 19.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra stands out with its premium features and design. It is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, added up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage up to 1TB of storage.

Xiaomi’s ultra premium smartphone is built with an aluminum frame, and its performance is protected by Xiaomi’s Shield Glass 2.0, which claims to be 16 times more durable in Xiaomi drop tests. The phone comes in two variants: a black model with a textured finish and a white version that contains spherical carvings.

The kit involves a protective case and a grip that gives you more control over the capabilities of the camera. The grip comes with a built -in 2,000mAh battery, offering emergency charging. It also has shutter release buttons, zoom control, video record button and exposure settings, making it easier to capture professional-quality photos. The grip connects through the USB-C port for spontaneous integration.

The camera setup on Xiaomi 15 includes the 50MP main shooter, 60 mm telephoto lens and a 14 mm ultravide sensor, reflecting the versatility of his elder brother. The front camera also retains a 32MP sensor for sharp selfie.

Under the hood, the battery capacity on the Indian version of Xiaomi 15 is 5,240mAh, slightly smaller than the 5,400mAh unit in the Chinese model.
