Xiaomi has finally announced the launch date of Xiaomi 15 series in India – 2 March. The company is expected to unveil two models, 15 and 15 ultra on the day. While the company has kept most of the details with it, rumors and leaks have been rounding for some time. Additionally, the phone was also launched in China in October last year and the Indian variant is expected to copy similar facilities and glasses. Let’s take a look at what is coming on 2 March.

Xiaomi 15 series India launched on March 2

As soon as the company launched the launch date, the details around the leak phone are sharing. Tipster Abhishek Yadav took it to X (East Twitter), sharing how the phones could appear. According to the leak, the ultra variant will come in three color variants: black, white and black and white (panda-like).

Both Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra are expected to come up with the base configuration of 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, with options available to upgrade 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, which are similar to Chinese variants.

Xiaomi can sports a 6.36 -inch OLED display with 15 1.5K resolution and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Its flat screen has ultra-slim 1.38 mm bezels, and has a powerful 5,500 mAh battery that supports fast charging in 90W wired and 50W wireless.

Xiaomi 15 is expected to highlight a Leica-operated triple camera system led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with a 32-megapixel front camera. It runs on Hyperose 2.0 based on Android 15.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra, while maintaining the same form as the base model, comes with a large 6.73-inch 2K display, with a micro quad-race design. It is equipped with a 6,100 mAh battery, which supports the same 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Both models have a 50-megapixel triple camera setup, but Xiaomi 15 Ultra separates itself with a telephoto lens that supports the periscope-style zoom, which offers up to 5x optical zoom, while Xiaomi 15 in 15 Is optical zoom.

Xiaomi 15 series required in India

Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to be around CNY 6,499, which is around 78,000 or $ 892. The Samsung Galaxy S25 is located as a direct contestant for major devices such as Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max, it is uncertain whether the device will be launched in India and how Xiaomi will be priced. For reference, the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant of Xiaomi 14 Ultra was launched in India for Rs 99,999.

China came back to launch, Xiaomi 15 starts starting from 4,499 Chinese Yuan (About 53,000 rupees).
