Superstar Rajinikanth is in a race to beat his age with every project. The 73-year-old actor has several projects ahead, including Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie as well as Jailer 2 with Nelson Dilipkumar. And now, recent reports suggest that Thalaivaa has planned something interesting through which fans will get a chance to know him more. Reportedly, he is keen to write an autobiography.
Well, as per the viral buzz all over the social media, it is believed that Rajinikanth will be writing his autobiography soon, right after he finishes shooting for his scheduled projects. Although there is no confirmation about this, many people are also speculating whether the star will narrate his autobiography through a podcast.
On his work front, reportedly, Rajinikanth’s next release is Coolie, which has slated a release date of May 1, 2025. Again, there is no official confirmation on this matter yet.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film is all set to be a unique film in which Rajinikanth will showcase his mysterious element. Apart from him, the film includes actors like Nagarjuna Akkineni, Shruti Haasan, Shobin Shahir, Satyaraj and Upendra.
Talking about his last release, Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyaan failed to live up to the expectations. Despite the hype about the film, courtesy of a strong plot and a stellar star cast, it still underperformed at the box office.
Thus several reports revealed that the superstar was apparently asked by the producers to compensate for the loss by agreeing to do another film with him.
According to a report in M9 News, the producers of Lyca Productions, directed by TJ Gnanavel, have also asked Rajinikanth to reduce his remuneration for this next project that he will be collaborating on, given that the star’s previous films with him Had not gone. Well.
Even after saying this, there was no comment from the makers on such discussion.
On the personal front, Rajinikanth suffered a minor health issue on October 1, 2024, for which he received immediate medical attention. He has since returned to good health.
