Neil Nitin Mukesh had a proper part of successes and failures. Therefore, they have seen how the mindset and perception of the people changed where their career graph was. In a special interview with the screen, the son of playback singer Nitin Mukesh said that ‘Toxic’ is people in the Hindi film industry who enjoy an artist on facing some patch.
He told the publication that in Bollywood, people celebrate when a film does not work on Friday. Neil Nitin Mukesh claimed, “You are happy for someone’s failure compared to someone’s success,”
The Johnny Gaddar actor further expressed that heavy criticism in Bollywood sometimes becomes toxic. “This happens, and it happens at a point where it becomes toxic. I have seen a lot, and I still see a lot,” Neil said, saying that people do not appreciate each other for their successes until they are too close to them.
In this conversation, the New York actor said that there is a lot of body investigation in the industry. According to him, there are actors who say, ‘This man should lose weight.’ But Neil fail to understand why they talk about someone’s appearance and not their performance. Even when he lost weight for his role in the upcoming Oat Dance Dance Dance, Hai Junoon, people started asking him if he was suffering from some disease.
This impressed the actor so much that now he feels that “a certain way is a barrier” because half of the time, he is fighting to persuade people not to go with his skin tone or his golden lock. Since he is often judged at the way he looks, he can play a better role despite he realizes.
Citing examples of Bollywood superstar, Neil Nitin Mukesh said that even today, Shah Rukh Khan pushed himself to mold himself in a separate avatar. Even Hrithik Roshan, who did Super 30, dark himself and Saif Ali Khan played a Langda Tyggy in Omkara. “So sometimes, it may seem that there may be an obstacle,” she rests her case.
