Fall Gai star Heather Thomas shared the terrible experiences faced in Hollywood after leaving the hit show. Still speaking at the Hollywood podcast here, Thomas revealed that he was consistently targeted by stallers, which eventually inspires him to move away from the entertainment industry.
An emerging star became survivor
Heather Thomas played The Fall Gai from 1981 to 1986. After the end of the show, she appeared in films like Red-Brade American Girl and Against the Law. But later in the 1990s, she ran away from Hollywood completely.
Be in a state of fear
Thomas said that his experience was terrible, assuming that he had several preventive orders against the stocker. “I had piles to stop the orders. I had two young girls, and a bloc was jumping our fence with a huge deer knife,” she remembered.
The stalk laws were not as tough as they are today, so it was difficult to get proper security. A hunter cut into an attempt to break through the screen of his bedroom. “I broke one night in my room a night, cut my screen, and go inside. I shot him,” he confessed. Fortunately, her gun was filled with rock salt instead of live round. She never knew whether the intruder was ever prosecuted or not.
Why did she keep quiet
However, Thomas chose to remain silent for years, not to remember that “the woman who was stalk.”
She also talked about the sexualization of women in Hollywood, describing how she was about to sell herself based on her presence rather than her talent.
Thomas began her Hollywood visit when she was participating in the UCLA, planning to become a director and writer. However, he came to know that the business was extremely challenging for women. He selected the acting as it offered “the way of resistance” and a high salary.
