Netflix’s new music competition series, Building the Band, crowned their first winners at the conclusion of season 1 released on Wednesday, 23 July. Girl Group 3quency, which included Nori Moore, Venielie Quozada, and Brian Mazola, went with the title and a USD 500,000 awards.
The trio always impressed the celebrity judge Nicole Sherzinger, Kelly Rowland, and the late Liam Payne with the rendering of Maria Kerry in the performance of Finale. He defeated the finalist group Szn4, the only mixed-ling band of the show, including Donzel Taggart, Aliah Rose, Cameron God and Katie Rowder.
How did 3quency win the competition?
Judge Nicole Sherzinger praised the growth and energy of the group in the finale episode. “They have proved us that they are ready,” SCRZINGER said. “A band that has shown such an increase, the band that took out all the stops tonight.”
The show formed 3quency and remained continuously throughout the season. His chemistry became an important force. “Once we were closed in three, we were still open to shift it, but three just liked it so much. Our chemistry felt very strong,” Brian Mazola told the USA Today Today before the conclusion.
The judges gave three important suggestions to the group which helped them succeed. Scherzinger advised him to maintain eye contact, Payne encouraged him to “claim his appearance on stage”, and Rolland reminded him of “just breathing”.
Nori Moore shared how the group remained connected after filming. “We have been in a long -range relationship,” he said, saying that he was in touch with the facetime movie nights, group trip and daily chat.
Szn4’s emotional performance transferred judges
While 3quency won, Szn4 gave a powerful display of Rag’n’n’bone Man’s Human, which shed tears to judges and brought Aj McLan into tears. Kelly Rowland also predicted that they would win, saying that the mid-episode felt that she felt that she had this bag. But in the end, the association and chemistry of 3quency gave him an edge.
