Veteran character actor Robert Trebor, known for his recurring role as Salmonus in Hercules: The Legendary Journey and Exna: Warrior Princess, and his unforgettable performance as serial killer David Berkovitz died at 71 years of age. Stem-cell transplant for leukemia many years ago.
Born on 7 June 1953 in Philadelphia, Trebor’s career began with small roles in films such as Gorp, Turks 182 and Woody Ellen’s The Purple Rose of Cairo. His breakout came in 1985 when he portrayed the infamous “son” David Berkovitz in front of Martin Sheen in the CBS television film Out of the Darkness.
After this success, Trabor appeared in notable films in the late 80s and in the late 90s, which included 52 pickups (1986), Mr. Right (1987), Oliver Stone’s Talk Radio (1988), and Rollland Emeren’s Universal Solzier (1992) with Roy Shefider and N-Magrate. His television credit was equally impressive, with guests in hit shows such as Miami Vice, Murphy Brown, Bewatch, Knight Court and Crypt from Kaype.
Trabor’s most prestigious role came in 1995 when she was cast as an opportunist vendor yet, starring in Hercules: The Legendary Journey, Kevin Sorbo. He appeared in all five sessions in about two dozen episodes and even depicted a separate character, BS Hallingfofer in an episode. Trabor later reiterated the role of the beloved Salmonus in several episodes of Xena: Warrior Princess with Lucy Lales.
At the later stages of his career, Trabor continued to act in films such as Dyeing on the Age, Lalavood in Jimmy Glic, Meet Market, The Devils Rejucts, and made his final screen appearance as a producer in Caesar, the 2016 film Hal, Caesar, the 2016 film Hal, Caesar.
Beyond screen acting, Trebor was a respected stage actor in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia and was named one of the first artists at Brad in Los Angeles. He was also a writer, Penning Dear Salmonus: The Worlds First Guide to Love and Money and the Political Satire The Haircut, which would be King, focused on Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.
Robert Trebor’s television, leaving behind a rich heritage of memorable performance in the film and theater. He has survived his 43 -year -old wife, Didre Hennings.
