1. Coriander, a natural antiseptic:

Coriander has antiseptic, antimicrobial and antifungal properties that soothe and cool the skin, and treat various problems like rashes, burns, etc.

2. Coriander for Hydration:

Being a natural detoxifier, it helps flush out skin-deadening toxins and balances the water content in the skin. It also helps absorb excess oil and makes the skin glowing and radiant.

3. Coriander to Prevent Sunburn:

Did you know that coriander can be your favorite natural sunscreen? You heard us. The abundance of minerals, antioxidants and vitamin C helps this spice act as an anti-inflammatory agent. It also helps in treating sunburns and skin rashes.

4. Coriander, which helps prevent ageing:

According to health experts, coriander seeds are great for treating pigmentation, fine lines and loose skin. The vitamin A present in it helps to increase skin collagen, remove dead skin cells and slow down the onset of wrinkles and fine lines.

According to nutritionist and macrobiotic expert Shilpa Arora, you can include the spice in your daily diet as a detox drink. “Soak two teaspoons of coriander seeds overnight, boil in the morning, strain and drink!” she explains in an Instagram post. Suggesting the right dosage of the beauty drink, she advised drinking it for two to three weeks and “you will notice clearer, brighter skin, reduced pigmentation and improved elasticity.”
