After integrating Meta AI, WhatsApp is constantly working to improve the user experience. Almost every week, we are reporting that the most popular messenger application is improving its Meta AI feature. First, it introduced Meta AI to its chat interface, making it extremely easy for users to use the chatbot. Users can easily clear queries, create images, find interesting recipes and many more things with just a text prompt. Secondly, WhatsApp tried to introduce a Meta AI voice mode feature just like OpenAI’s ChatGPT. But we think it will be a little less controversial than that. But the dedication to improvement doesn’t stop here. Now, WhatsApp is reportedly working to improve the still underdeveloped voice chat mode.

The screenshots shared by WABetaInfo reveal that WhatsApp will soon let users choose the voice for Meta AI. The go-to messenger is exploring the implementation of different voice options for Meta AI. While the release is not confirmed yet, we think it will come with the Voice Mode feature only. It is reported that the voices will vary in pitch and tone. According to the report, Meta AI will offer a range of voice options to suit individual preferences, including three different UK voices and two US voices, which vary in pitch and tone. This allows users to choose a voice that resonates with their regional accent, personal tastes, or preferred tone, allowing for more tailored and personal conversations with the chatbot.

In addition, there are expected to be four more voices of some popular public figures, although the exact names have not been revealed yet. By offering a range of voices, users can choose the voice that best suits their preferences, whether it is a voice with a relatable accent, a tone that inspires them, or a voice that reminds them of a notable personality, making their interactions with the Meta AI more engaging and meaningful. For example, if you prefer British accents over American, you can simply choose the UK voice.

Including the voices of public figures in Meta AI can increase user engagement, as familiar and inspiring voices can make conversations more enjoyable and engaging, allowing users to connect with voices they like or that inspire them. But will it include languages other than English? Right now the feature is under development, so there is little chance that the first version of this feature will include any other language. But, as it develops, there is a high possibility that WhatsApp will include Hindi and other languages, keeping the global audience in mind.
