Whatsapp has borrowed a page from Google Meat and Microsoft teams, which has a new call scheduling feature
WhatsApp call is ready to introduce the call scheduling, allowing users to plan premature one and group calls. This will allow the platform to rival the choice of Google Meat and Microsoft teams when it comes to organizing meetings.

In short
- Users will be able to schedule calls in advance
- The upcoming call will be displayed with the list of people present in the call tab
- This feature will work on both one-to-one and group call
WhatsApp is taking a new swing with the launch of a new call scheduling feature in Google Meat and Microsoft teams and to make the group and other capabilities designed to make personal video calls more comfortable and efficient. The ‘schedule call’ facility will allow the user to plan a call in advance.
Every person who has been invited for the call will receive a notification before he shut down the kick. It is similar to pre-determined meetings on other platforms. This will allow users to set up meetings and will not risk forgetting any important call.
Users will be able to see the list of attendees through their upcoming call and call tab. WhatsApp has also added a feature to react or raise hands during the call.
It is a global WhatsApp update, which means it will be rolled out globally for all users. Features suggest that the platform is directly trying to pitch itself as a professional meeting app.
In a press note, the company said, “We are launching these updates to give new ways to connect users, whether it is for family catch-ups or professional meetings.” WhatsApp confirmed that all calls would remain end-to-end encrypted.
Additionally, the attendees will be able to invite others to call others through a sharing link. When someone uses a shared link, the call schedule will receive a notification.
WhatsApp’s latest beta helps you write messages
There is a lot in the pipeline in the platform owned by the meta. Last week, the app unveiled writing aid, an AI-operated feature that helps users to write messages. Not only will it correct grammar mistakes, but will also change the tone of a text before sending someone.
This feature uses private processing technology of meta. Users will need to click on a pen icon on the keyboard that will suggest them to increase the message. Once selected, the updated text can be sent. However, the receiver will not be informed that the message is revised by the AI tool. This can help users who want their messages to look more professional or check the grammar of any text without feeding with external apps or services.
The writing aid equipment is currently available only to beta testers. WhatsApp claims that this facility will be completely optional.
