While filming The Views Behind the Table podcast, Ana Navarro received an unexpected call from her friend Eva Longoria, who set the record straight and asked, “Would you please tell them I didn’t move out of the United States because of Trump.” In the discussion, Navarro revealed that the Desperate Wives alumnus had left “before Trump was elected”.
Longoria revealed that she has been in Europe for three years now, as she also said in the Marie Claire interview that first started these rumors. She said, “It’s in the article, by the way, that’s what the article says. People just grabbed some clickbait stuff to be divisive.” The 49-year-old woman was saddened by the events of the past few days, adding, “Everything you say is only meant to be divisive when we can’t be that way right now.”
He revealed that the reason for living abroad is because of his work commitments, such as exploring the Land of Women and Mexico. He reiterated that he did not like the “politicization” of his statements. She added, “I’m a proud American. I’ve always been a proud American. Proud Texan, proud American.”
