Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is ready for the release of his upcoming show BA *** DS. The series is already grabbing headlines for all exact reasons, even before its release. Now, Monica Shergill, the vice -president of Netflix’s vice -president content, has increased the enthusiasm among fans by giving key details about the show. He shared that it would be ‘very delightful and emotional ride for all’. He called his relationship with Shah Rukh Khan as ‘permanent in forms’.
In an interview with IndiatV Showbiz, Monica Shergill opened Aryan Khan’s much awaited first series BA *** Bollywood DS and shared some exciting details. Netflix vice -president shared, “I am very excited about the first series of Aryan Khan. It is going to be a very delightful and emotional ride for everyone. It will make laughter and everything that you see in the best Bollywood movies.”
Monica also talked about her bond with Raja Khan and shared, “With Shah Rukh, it has been a permanent relationship in formats.” He further shared that Netflix India had a beautiful journey to collaborate with a diverse set of filmmakers and opened on how some creators were ‘enthusiastic’ to dive into streaming, while others needed to be a little extravagant.
Netflix Content Head also talked about meeting Sanjay Leela Bhansali, where an unconventional strategy proved effective- to broadcast street food on the table. He shared that he loves street food, and should be one on the table, discussing the projects with him.
Sharing that there are separate creative processes of different filmmakers, Shergill admitted that Aditya Chopra’s perspective includes deep, analytical conversations, which focus on the behavior of the audience in theaters, in the vs. streaming platforms. With Karan Johar, the atmosphere is ‘very joyful’, as seen during the creation of a magnificent life of Bollywood wives.
Earlier, the Waves Summit in 2025, Saif Ali Khan opened on the first project to directed Aryan Khan and called it ‘Fantastic’. He also shared that his children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, would also appear in cameo performances in the show.
