It’s a very exciting time, as the MCU has Deadpool and Wolverine, and fans are eagerly waiting to see what’s coming next. There’s no end to the possibilities and there’s a lot of excitement about it. One of these possibilities is the various crossovers within the MCU. There are a lot of talks about Deadpool joining hands with the Avengers or becoming Nightmare. Hugh Jackman also considered this crossover possibility.
Hugh Jackman wants to ‘stack’ this young MCU hero
In an interview with Marvel Thailand, Hugh Jackman revealed which superhero he would like to see him and Ryan Reynolds work together. Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool, said that he would love to be on Tom Holland’s Spider-Man’s side.
He likes Spider-Man and says that no matter how many times you knock him down, he always “gets back up”. However, Hugh Jackman had other plans for Spider-Man, stating, “It would be cool. And he’s young, we could attack him, and abuse him.”
Moreover, some rumors from Reynolds have made people speculate that Deadpool wants to be a part of the Avengers because “he wants to matter”. On the other hand, Jackman chooses Hulk as his best friend and goes on missions together.
In an interview with ScreenRant, he revealed that he would have liked to be with the Hulk, not against him, so that the balance could be in his favor. Despite this fact, there is speculation that Jackman’s wish may never come true.
Hulk could be the main villain
On May 15, Aman Sinha put forward an interesting theory on the SuperSuper YouTube channel, in which he claimed that the Hulk will be featured as the main antagonist in the upcoming Deadpool and Wolverine movie.
Sinha had spotted Hulk’s bed scene in the trailer, which is an indication that Hulk will play a role in this film as well. Another reason behind this is that Wolverine in the 2024 film is from Earth #807128.
The trailer also suggests dimension travel, an encounter with the Void, and Old Man Logan’s usual chaos references. The latter also shows Giant Man’s skull as well as a road trip similar to the one taken by Wolverine and Hawkeye towards the Hulk.
We will see if he teams up with Spider-Man or becomes his enemy, but that will only be known when Hugh Jackman teams up with Spider-Man or faces the Hulk himself.
There are many MCU fans who want to see how these potential crossovers will play out. They are very excited about all of these options so far.
