Pre-orders for the new Samsung Galaxy S25 series are now live and will run till 7 February. As a tradition with these launch has become a large part of the reason for upgrading pre-order facilities. But will you upgrade to S25?

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra camera upgrade is the only camera-the ultra-wide module now has a 50MP sensor, which is more than 12MP at S20-S24 Ultra. There is also a new Snapdragon 8 Elite, which has a greater number of crunching power for image processing in ISP. Samsung has increased the screen slightly above (6.8 “to 6.9”) by thinning the bezels, rounding the corners and adding more durable gorilla armor 2 protection (full with anti-reflex coating). The S Penn has also changed to pre-Galaxy Note 9 design as a perfectly passive device (no more wireless actions).

Is there any reason for Samsung Galaxy S25+ to exist? Last year’s only upgrade is the new chipset. Worse is that Samsung has teased the new Galaxy S25 Edge, which may lead to the next development of the plus line – or even the overall S -series. Samsung Galaxy S25 was finally upgraded to 12GB RAM. But not for 256GB base storage, let’s not be too crazy. Undoubtedly, it also has a new chipset, and that’s all. Not even equal to slow 25W charge speed – and no UWB.

Well, to give some credit to Samsung, the S25 phones are 0.4 mm thinner than their predecessors and some grams are also lighter (14 grams, not bad in case of ultra). This is good, although we are not sure that we will not give priority to the increase in battery capacity instead.

Despite the rumors contrast, the prices of the Galaxy S25 series in most markets are the same as the S24 phone, although there are some exceptions, where prices have a slight jump. Some markets like America have great trade -in deal and additional features – what Samsung US is offering here. But the trade-in price in other markets is less impressive.
