The arrest and subsequent bail of Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun has generated a huge wave of support on social media. Following his release, the hashtag ‘We Stand for Allu Arjun’ started trending as fans and members of the film industry expressed their solidarity with the actor.

The arrest comes in the wake of the tragic stampede that took place during the Pushpa 2 premiere in Hyderabad, in which one person lost his life and another was seriously injured. Fans rallied to defend Arjun on X, praising his character and contributions to the entertainment world. Thousands of tweets flooded the platform, with users insisting that the actor alone should not be blamed for the incident.

Many prominent Tollywood celebrities including actors Nani and Nandamuri Balakrishna (Balayya) also joined in support. The duo posted messages highlighting the shared responsibility of event organizers, theaters and local authorities in preventing such accidents, while also demanding fair treatment of Arjun.

Nani’s post read, “It was an unfortunate incident and heartbreaking. We should all learn from the disaster and be more careful after it and take measures to ensure that it does not happen again. We are all guilty here. No one person is responsible for this.”

Guntur Karam director Trivikram also reacted to Nani’s post.

The trending hashtag has sparked widespread debate on celebrity accountability versus systemic failures in the management of public events.

Although Allu Arjun has not made any public statement yet, his fans are standing firmly by his side, vowing to support him through the legal proceedings.
