WATCH: Sonakshi-Zaheer have ‘fantastic’ day in AUS vs IND Boxing Day Test
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal enjoyed a great day at the MCG, cheering for India during the Boxing Day Test. The couple was also joined by actresses Karisma Tanna and Saiyami Kher.
Actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal had a great day at the Boxing Day Test match between India and Australia in Melbourne, Australia. The couple shared pictures and videos of the fun they had at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
In the pictures, Sonakshi is seen in a white outfit with her husband, actor Zaheer Iqbal. The two were seen holding the Indian flag and encouraging fans to chant “Bharat, Bharat, Bharat”. She was joined by actor Karishma Tanna and her husband, Varun Bangera, along with actor Saiyami Kher.
Sharing the pictures on social media, Sonakshi wrote, “What an amazing day of cricket at the Boxing Day match on @mcg!!! The atmosphere was fantastic, Indian and Australian fans brought their A-game and made our first cricket.” Absolutely unforgettable match together!!! Had a lot of fun cheering Team India!! All the best boys…bring it home (sic).”
A video from the cricket ground shows Sonakshi, Zaheer, Karishma and Saiyami joining the Indian cricket team in singing the national anthem before the match. Zaheer also played cricket with the children present at the MCG and also posed for pictures with Sonakshi in the stadium.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal were married on June 23 this year. The couple often vacations together and share glimpses of their trips on social media.
Talking about the work front, Sonakshi was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Heeramandi.
