The trailer of ‘Murshid’ starring Kay Kay Menon and Tanuj Virwani was released on August 20. Menon plays a dreaded gangster in the upcoming Zee5 thriller. The show also stars Zakir Hussain and Rajesh Shringarpure. It will stream from August 30.

The trailer of ‘Murshid’ is a mix of crime, action and drama. It takes the audience into the dark and sinister world of Mumbai’s criminal underbelly, where retired don Murshid Pathan (Kay Kay Menon) is pulled back into the dangerous life he wanted to escape. His quiet life is shattered when his old adversary, Farid (Zakir Hussain), drags Murshid’s son into a dangerous scheme, forcing the former criminal to navigate a maze of shifting loyalties, political intrigue and deep-rooted animosities.

As Murshid struggles to save his family and his legacy, he faces the machinations of Inspector Kumar Pratap Rana (Tanuj Virwani), his adopted son, and power-hungry politician Jayendra (Rajesh Shringarpure). What happens next? Watch the show to find out.

Tanuj Virwani plays Police Inspector Kumar Pratap Rana in ‘Murshid’.
