Actresses Karisma Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor recreated the steps of the all-time hit track ‘Le Gayi’ on the stage of ‘India’s Best Dancer 4’. Shraddha arrived on the sets of ‘India’s Best Dancer 4’ to promote her upcoming film ‘Stree 2’ with Rajkummar Rao.

During the show, Karisma Kapoor, who is the judge of the dance reality show along with Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapoor, recalled her meeting with Shraddha Kapoor’s father Shakti Kapoor on the sets of one of her films. After the heartwarming conversation, they danced to the song ‘Le Gayi’.

While Karisma looked like a boss lady in a monochrome outfit, Shraddha continued her hit dressing method by wearing a saree for ‘Stree 2’. Bindi And long hair.

Amidst the many revelations, Karisma shared an interesting anecdote from the past about Shraddha. She said, “I have worked with Shraddha’s father Shakti Kapoor ji in more than 30-40 films. I still remember an incident when we were shooting in Ooty in the summers and during the holidays, Shraddha and Siddhant would come to the shoot. There was one time that I remember very well, Shraddha was wearing a pink frock with a little pink bow and she was looking at me in awe and surprise.”

He further added, “I told her how beautiful she is and then I told Shakti ji that his Shraddha will become a great actress one day. There was a spark in her since childhood, her eyes are so beautiful! I remember she was observing everyone on the shoot and I think that is very important for an artiste; to observe and know what is happening and I think she had a keen eye (on the profession) from a very young age.”

On this, Shraddha told how she has always idolised Karisma. She said, “I have always idolised Karisma, I am her biggest fan and you won’t believe how much I have danced to her songs. She has inspired me as an all-rounder. She is beautiful, a great artist and a great dancer. I have rarely seen someone like her in the history of Indian cinema and Karisma Kapoor is truly one of those few.”

Shraddha also said that sharing the stage with Karisma is like a dream come true for her. She said, “Today my dream has come true. There is a saying, ‘Whatever you really wish for or want from the heart, it always comes true in life (If you really wish for something, it always comes true). Since childhood, I used to dance to Karisma’s songs in front of the mirror and today I am dancing with her!”

Did you know that Karisma Kapoor turned down ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ when the show was initially offered to her? The actress spoke about the incident during her appearance on ‘Indian Idol 12’.

He said, “Every single heroine refused the film (‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’). This role came to me… it was a dance film and I had to work with Madhuri Dixit in that too. Everyone said, ‘No, how can we dance with Madhuri Dixit ji.’ Initially, I also refused it because it was a dance film and there was a dance competition with Madhuri Dixit. I said, ‘This can’t happen’.”

Karisma said, “Then finally, Yashji and Adi (Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra) narrated the story to me. My mother told me, ‘You should take up the challenge. You are a huge fan of Madhuri Dixit, you should do this. You work hard and you will shine.'”

Shahrukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit were in the lead roles in this film.
