16 years ago on July 4, ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’ was released in theatres. The film marked the Bollywood debut of Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza along with several other actors. The film was a hit then and became a cult classic that audiences still enjoy today. On the completion of 16 years of the film, the production house has shared a video of the actors singing the title track of the film which will surely make you feel nostalgic.

Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza were of course present in the video medley. They were accompanied by other actors like Sugandha, Manjari Phadnis, Alishka, Karan Makhija and even Murali Sharma. The best part is that Murali Sharma who plays the CSF officer once again says, “Agli baar ye gaana gaya na toh goli maar doonga.” This is the same dialogue he used in the film when Jai ran to the airport to confess his love to Aditi.

The caption read, “It’s been 16 years and we’re still singing this song for everyone we love.” Check out the video here:

In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Imran Khan had earlier spoken about the possibility of a sequel to the film and said, “‘Jaane Tu…’ is a film where the emotional journeys of the characters are the culmination of the plot. Because of this, to make a sequel, you have to re-open their emotionality which may or may not work. Sequels are usually for plot-driven films and not character-driven films.”

Imran Khan is going to return soon.
