YouTuber Jaron Campanella, a popular ‘flat earther’ had his entire belief system shattered after traveling nearly 14,000 kilometers from California to Antarctica and spending $37,000 to test his non-scientific theory. Before starting the trip, Mr. Campanella was convinced that Antarctica was just an “ice wall” where the sun rises and sets every day. As a result, he traveled to the distant continent to prove his point. Once there, Mr. Campanella realized that the sun does not rise in Antarctica during the Southern Hemisphere’s summer and that everyone else was right.
“Sometimes you are wrong in life. I thought there was no sun 24 hours a day. In fact, I was absolutely sure of it,” Mr Campanella admitted on his channel.
“I realize I’ll be called a fool just for saying this and you know what, if you’re a fool to be honest then so be it – I honestly believed there was no 24-hour sun… I honestly That’s all I believe now,” Mr. Campanella said.
“What does that mean? You’ll have to figure it out. To me, it means that the AE (azimuthal equidistance) map no longer works, but that doesn’t mean I’m right.”
NEW: The Flat Earther travels to Antarctica to prove that the Earth is flat, only to discover that it isn’t.
Lmao.
Flat Earth YouTuber Jaron Campanella went on a $35,000 journey to prove there was “no 24-hour sun.”

‘Last Experiment’
Despite it being proven that the Earth was actually spherical thousands of years ago, flat Earthers continue to question the reality. To end such naivety, Colorado pastor Will Duffy planned an expedition called ‘The Final Experiment’, taking four Flat Earthers and four “Globe Earthers” to Antarctica to observe the continent’s midnight sun. Went.
Antarctica’s midnight sun is the greatest proof that the Earth is spherical because this phenomenon can only occur on an inclined and rotating sphere.
Duffy announced in a statement, “I created The Final Experiment to end this debate once and for all. After visiting Antarctica, no one will have to waste any more time debating the shape of the Earth.”
“This, of course, assumes that the entire “experiment” is not an elaborate prank designed to fool us ‘Globe Earthers.'” This seems extremely unlikely, but we’ll keep you posted if anything changes. “It’s not that we’re trying to look conspiratorial or crazy.”
The experiment also refutes claims by Flat Earthers that, as part of the 1959 Antarctic Treaty, citizens were not allowed to visit the southern continent, in order to hide the Earth’s true shape.
