Allu Arjun and director Sukumar reconfirmed the release date of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at a film event in Hyderabad on August 21. The film is set for a grand release in theatres on December 6.
Telugu superstar Allu Arjun dismissed rumours of ‘Pushpa 2’ delay at an event in Hyderabad on August 21. The actor uttered his punch dialogue ‘Pushpa 2’.Thaggede Le‘ and reaffirmed that the film will hit the theatres on December 6. ‘Pushpa 2’ director Sukumar also attended the event. A few weeks ago, it was rumoured that All was not well between Sukumar and Allu ArjunHowever, his presence at the event has put an end to the speculations.
Allu Arjun and Sukumar attended the pre-release event of veteran Telugu actor Rao Ramesh’s ‘Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam’ on August 21. At the event, the two gave updates about ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.
Speaking at the event, Allu Arjun said, “You know how it feels when you see how a film is turning out? You get a kind of confidence. I don’t know if I should call it confidence or not. But, the way the film is turning out… you all will like it. I won’t say much. 6 December asalu thuggade le (I will not back down). That is certain.”

Director Sukumar reconfirmed release date of ‘Pushpa 2’ He said at the event that this film would be a gift for the fans.
He said, “Initially we thought we were doing ‘Pushpa’ for ourselves. But it is for you (pointing at the fans). We are working hard to give the fans the best experience. Some scenes are taking longer and I don’t want to compromise on the quality. Allu Arjun’s performance and the film will be phenomenal.”
Sukumar entertained fans at the event, saying, “The performance Thaggde Le. Movies asalu thuggade leHe also adopted the ‘Pushpa’ mudra while concluding his speech.

‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ It is going to be released on 15th August. However, the film was shelved as the shooting was not complete. This fuelled rumours of a possible rift between Sukumar and Allu Arjun. However, the duo dismissed the rumours with their bromance at the event.
The sequel stars Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ will release in theatres on December 6 in multiple languages.
