War 2 and Koli are two latest big budget tentpol films which are hitting the box office. While both films saw a large decline on their first Monday, Cool maintained a good lead.
The bud leads the conflict with a difference of Rs 30 crore
Cool, directed by Lokesh Kanagarj, earned more than Rs 257 crore in 5 days of his dramatic run at the Indian box office, against the gross of Rs 209 crore of War 2. The Tamil-root film maintained a good lead of Rs 30 crore on Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR film.
However, both films overshadowed the first Monday. While Rajinikanth could add Rs 12 crore to the starrer Crime Thriller Tally, the detective action drama earned only Rs 9 crore. Both Coolie and War 2 need to show better trends in the second weekend and take maximum advantage of it.

Cool and War 2 target wrap their dramatic runs under a mark of Rs 300 crore
If the trend continues in this way, Cool and War 2 will end their entire dramatic run in India below Rs 300 crore. Given the current trends, there is a possibility of around Rs 275 crore by bridging the difference between war 2 and by the end of the dramatic run. On the other hand, Cool is expected to end its box office travel in an area of Rs 285 crore to Rs 300 crore, depending on how it performs in the coming days.
