Vivo X300s sports a 6.78” 144Hz LTPO display
The rear camera is what really differentiates the X300s from the X300 Pro. It has a 200MP main camera (f/1.68 Zeiss lens), 50MP telephoto (f/2.57 Zeiss APO lens) and 50MP ultra-wide (f/2.0 Zeiss lens). The selfie camera has a 50MP sensor (f/2.0).
It turns things around compared to the Pro, which has a 50MP main and 200MP telephoto. More importantly, the X300s uses a smaller sensor. The main camera has a 200MP 1/1.4” Samsung HPB sensor compared to the Pro’s 50MP 1/1.28” Sony Lytia 828. The ultra-wide and selfie cameras on both phones are identical – they all use 50MP 1/2.76″ Samsung JN1 and f/2.0 lenses with autofocus. The selfie cameras have a fairly wide 92° FoV.
Last year, we tested a Vivo X300 Pro Photographer Kit, which used a teleconverter lens to extend the phone’s zoom range. There’s a photographer’s kit in the new Ultra too, of course, and in the X300s too – the Zeiss G2 teleconverter lens brings the equivalent of a 200mm focal length. Moving on to the camera, the Vivo X300s is powered by the same Dimensity 9500 as the X300 Pro. It has a large vapor chamber and a graphite sheet to dissipate heat for better sustained performance.
The MediaTek chipset is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X quad-channel RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. For camera-related workloads it is assisted by the familiar V3+ imaging chip.
Vivo X300s features Dimensity 9500 and V3+ chips
Inside the phone is a large 7,100mAh fourth-generation Si/C battery (26.56Wh), making it slightly larger than the Pro’s 7,000mAh. Of course, that was the Chinese model – some Pro variants were sold with a 6,600mAh battery. Anyway, the X300s supports 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

The phone features symmetrical 1511 dual speakers and a customized vibration motor for haptic feedback. It is a powerful motor rated at 1.1 g (this is a measure of vibration intensity) and has a start-stop time of only 40 ms.
