Vivo officially confirmed that the X200 Ultra will be launched in China on April 21, and beyond the major event, the company shared some interesting details. In fact, Vivo has already revealed the full-colored lineup of the device, allowing fans to expect in terms of design. Vivo X200 Ultra will come in three colors – black, white/silver and red. Although we have not yet known the official name for these colors, Vivo’s product vice -president, Huang Tao, in a detailed post, described the phone as “Pocket Smart Camera that can call”, suggesting that a lot of focus will be focused on the X200 Ultra camera performance. Expecting the previous track record of Vivo and the camera setup on this device, this detail seems quite accurate.
Given the colors, each version brings something different to the table. In white/silver and black models, unique patterns appear on the back, which sit under the glass surface. Meanwhile, the red version keeps it simple without any visible pattern, but thanks to its bold and striking look. Vivo is being used by glass for all three back panels, causing the phone premium appearance. These three colors are only likely to be available, at least on launch.
On the camera front, Vivo has already teased some impressive specifications. The X200 Ultra features two 50-megapixel Sony Lyt-818 sensor-one primary camera and one for one ultra-wind shots. In addition, there will be a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera using Samsung’s Isosel HP9 sensor, which has been increased with a large aperture and better light intake. According to Vivo, it will greatly promote night photography and overall clarity. The phone will support various classic portraits focal lengths – 35 mm, 50 mm, 85 mm and 135 mm.
In addition to the camera, the Vivo X200 Ultra is rumored to come with a 6.82-inch quad-race display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Unlike the X200 Pro, Ultra model is expected to facilitate Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Processor. The device is likely to be rated for IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance and can pack a 6000mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 30W wireless charging.
While the launch of Vivo X200 Ultra in China later this month has been confirmed, there is no word on global release including India.
