Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri wrote a heartfelt note on social media on the completion of one year of Operation Sindoor, paying tribute to India’s leadership, armed forces and civilians. Filmmaker who is directing an upcoming film Operation Sindoor Based on India’s May 2025 military strikes, reflects the importance of the operation and the courage associated with it.
“It’s been a year since India showed the world that peace is our nature, but silence is not our weakness,” Agnihotri wrote on X.

“Today, I bow to the courage of our leadership led by Narendra Modi and the courage of our brave army and the spirit of every Indian coming together in a moment of national resolve,” he said.
The filmmaker also wrote that perhaps the greatest tribute would be to ensure that the story of Operation Sindoor is told to the world truthfully and powerfully, so that people remember what was defended, what sacrifices were made and what was the cost of keeping humanity alive.
He further commented that while history remembers wars, civilizations remember courage.

Recently, T-Series and Vivek Agnihotri’s I Am Buddha Productions announced their collaboration Operation Sindoor. The film is based on the book, Operation Sindoor: The Untold Story of India’s Deep Strikes Inside PakistanIt will be directed by Lieutenant General KJS Tiny Dhillon and directed by Vivek Agnihotri.
The film takes inspiration from India’s targeted military strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir following the 2025 Pahalgam massacre, in which many innocent civilians, mostly tourists, lost their lives. The Indian operation was widely seen as a defining moment in the country’s strategic response and military precision.
