At last, the matter is over! Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have officially confirmed their relationship by announcing their marriage. The soon-to-be married couple called their special day ‘The Wedding of Virosh’ acknowledging the love and blessings of their fans, who created this unique hashtag ‘Virosh’ by combining their names, Vijay and Rashmika.
Both Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna shared a special note on their Instagram handles, thanking fans and well-wishers and announcing their marriage. It is written in the note,"Our dearest love, before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves – you were already there. How lovingly you named us. You called us ‘Virosh’. So today – with full hearts, we come together in your honor. We would like to name it – ‘The Wedding of Virosh’. Thank you for holding us so lovingly. You are a part of us – always. The biggest hug and all the love!”
For those unaware, Vijay and Rashmika are set to exchange vows in a private ceremony at a palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan on February 26, 2026. The event will reportedly be attended by people close to the actor from the film industry.
It is rumored that Vijay and Rashmika have been in a relationship for more than 7 to 8 years since they worked together. If reports are to be believed, they came close to each other while working together in Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019). Till now the couple has never talked about their relationship.
When asked about her marriage, the Animal actress told The Hollywood Reporter India, “I wouldn’t like to confirm or deny marriage. I would just say that when we have to talk about it, we will.” The couple reportedly got engaged at Vijay’s Hyderabad residence in the first week of October around Dussehra. Later, Vijay’s team confirmed their engagement and wedding plans.
