Actor Vikrant Massey recently spoke about the National Awards buzz. The actor is being seen as a top contender for the honour after receiving both critical and commercial acclaim for his performance in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail.
Talking to Hindustan Times about the same, the actor said, “Let’s see. I don’t want to spoil it by talking too much about it.”
“To be considered (for the award) in a year where so many performances were outstanding and were recognised, and people really considered these performances to be good performances… I think I’m already in a good club, so I’m happy about that. As much as people are talking about me winning the National Award, there were some incredible performances last year. What Vicky (Kaushal) did in Sam Bahadur was phenomenal. What Fahadh (Faasil) did in Aavesh was as good as what Prithviraj did in Got Life. I’m happy to be considered alongside such fine actors,” the actor concluded.
Talking about work, Vikrant Massey is waiting for the release of ‘The Sabarmati Report’.
