Actor Wikrant Massey has clarified reports about Air India Crash, refusing to lose his cousin in the incident. In an Instagram post, he said that the victim, and flying co-pilot, clive kundar, a family friend and not a relative.

Vikrant expressed his condolences to Clive Kunder’s family and emphasized the importance of accurate information during such tragic events. He urged the public and the media to verify the facts before sharing the news.

His post read, “Dear friends in the media and elsewhere, unfortunately the diseased Shri Clive Kundar was not my cousin. Kunders are friends of our family. Do not request more speculation and let family and loved ones be mourned in peace (SIC).”

On 12 June, Massey shared an emotional post to the death of mourning. “My heart breaks down to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in unimaginably tragic air accident in Ahmedabad today. There is more pain to know that my uncle, Clifford Kundar lost his son, Clive Kundar, who was the first official operation on the horrific flight (SIC),” he wrote.

Clive Kundar served as the first officer aboard Flight AI171, who went to London’s Gatvic Airport. With a flight experience of over 1,100 hours, he was part of an experienced cockpit crew, with 8,200 flight hours with a line training captain Captain Sumate Sabarwal.

The tragic accident on Thursday among the most deadly airline tragedies in recent history claimed at least 265 lives. London-bound Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner went down soon after taking off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad at 1:39 pm.

The aircraft crashed into a government hospital hostel in Meghaninagar, burst into a fireball and overtaken the destruction and heartbreak mark. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is asked to visit the site later today.
