Actor Vikrant Massey announced on 1 December that he was taking a break from films until deemed appropriate. His post of temporary retirement from films has sent the industry and fans into shock. In his post on Instagram, he said that he has his last two films and many memories to cherish. The decision comes after the release of his latest project, The Sabarmati Report. Recently, he was Awarded with Indian Film Personality of the Year Award At the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.

His post on Instagram read, “Hello, the last few years and the years since have been phenomenal. I thank you all for your unfailing support. But as I move forward, I realize that It’s time to settle down and go back home. And as an actor, we’ll see each other for the last time in 2025. Memories and everything in between forever. Indebted.”
